According to PPM – this wall was painted with a black zoccolo/dado and in the centre of the middle zone was a central red panel with viola borders.
In the centre was a painting of Narcissus, according to the manuscript of the Giornale degli Scavi 1763 to 1784 at the Biblioteca della Societa di Storia Patria di Napoli.
